Welcome to Preek AI. By downloading, installing, or using our mobile application, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Preek AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

Preek AI is an AI-powered mobile application that provides blood glucose management tools, including meal photo analysis with GI/GL labeling, glucose tracking, AI-generated health insights, weekly analysis reports, and AI voice consultation for personalized health guidance. The service is available through iOS and requires an internet connection.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use Preek AI. You may register using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 13 years old to use the service.

4. Subscription & Payments

Preek AI offers the following subscription plans:

Some plans may include a free trial period. If a free trial is offered, you will not be charged until the trial period ends. Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.

Preek AI is not a medical device. The app does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All information, including AI-generated insights, GI/GL values, glucose scores, and health recommendations, is provided for informational and reference purposes only.

You should not rely on Preek AI as a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making any health-related decisions. If you have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.

The accuracy of AI-generated food analysis and glucose predictions may vary. Preek AI does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information provided.

All content, features, and functionality of Preek AI — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, AI models, algorithms, and software — are owned by Preek AI and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our app without prior written consent.

9. User-Generated Content

By uploading meal photos and entering glucose data, you grant Preek AI a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use this data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the service. We will not share your personal health data with third parties for advertising purposes.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Preek AI and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. This includes, but is not limited to, any health decisions made based on information provided by the app.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or harmful activity. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

12. Third-Party Services

Preek AI integrates with third-party services including Apple, Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, ElevenLabs, Twilio, Deepgram, and RevenueCat. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gwangju, South Korea.

14. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on our website and within the app. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of Preek AI after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
