Preek AI ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Preek AI mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials through Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In.
Health Data: Blood glucose readings, meal photos, and dietary information that you voluntarily provide within the app. This data is used solely to provide you with personalized glucose insights.
Voice Data: When using the AI Voice Consultation feature, your voice input is processed in real-time to provide health guidance. Voice conversations are not recorded or stored. Only text transcripts may be temporarily processed to generate responses.
Usage Data: We collect anonymized usage statistics to improve the app experience, including feature usage frequency and app performance metrics.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide AI-powered blood glucose analysis and personalized insights
- To analyze meal photos and calculate GI/GL values
- To generate weekly health reports and glucose scores
- To send smart spike alerts and health recommendations
- To provide real-time AI voice consultation for personalized health guidance
- To improve our AI models and app functionality
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on Supabase cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your personal and health information. Meal photos are processed through AI and are not shared with third parties.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Preek AI:
- Supabase: Database and authentication
- OpenAI / Anthropic: AI analysis (meal photos are sent for analysis only, not stored by these providers beyond processing)
- RevenueCat: Subscription management
- ElevenLabs: Voice cloning and text-to-speech (voice recordings are used to create a personalized voice clone with your explicit consent)
- Twilio: AI voice coaching calls (voice is processed in real-time)
- Deepgram: Speech-to-text processing during voice coaching calls (audio is processed in real-time and not stored)
- Apple / Google: Authentication and app distribution
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We do not share your health data with advertisers. Data is only shared with third-party services as described above, solely for the purpose of providing app functionality.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Export your health data
- Opt out of anonymized usage analytics

7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data and health records are permanently deleted within 30 days.
8. Children's Privacy
Preek AI is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Medical Disclaimer
Preek AI is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The information provided is for reference purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.
10. Voice Cloning Consent
The AI Voice Coaching feature allows you to create a personalized voice clone. By using this feature, you explicitly consent to:
- Your voice recording being sent to ElevenLabs for voice clone creation
- The generated voice clone being used solely for health coaching calls to your designated care target
- Storage of the voice clone ID in your account profile
You may delete your voice clone at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion, we will request removal of the voice clone from ElevenLabs servers. Voice clones are never shared with third parties or used for purposes other than your designated coaching calls.
11. GDPR (European Users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Right to Access: Request a copy of your personal data
- Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data
- Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data
- Right to Restrict Processing: Request limitation of how we use your data
- Right to Data Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format
- Right to Object: Object to processing of your personal data

12. CCPA (California Users)
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
